Job Description:
Purpose of the Role
We are seeking an experienced Early Years Practitioner to work within Family Hub nursery settings, contributing to the care, learning, and development of children under the age of 5. You will help deliver high-quality early years provision in a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment, in line with EYFS and Ofsted standards.

*Location: Barnsley, S70
*Pay Rate: £13.26 per hour
*Full time: 37 h a week
Key Responsibilities
*Support children’s learning and development through engaging, age-appropriate activities
*Provide a safe, caring, and inclusive nursery environment
*Observe, assess, and contribute to children’s development records
*Work collaboratively with colleagues, parents, and carers
*Follow safeguarding, health and safety, and childcare policies at all times
Who We’re Looking For
*Level 3 Early Years qualification (essential)
*Current, relevant experience working in a nursery or childcare setting
*Experience supporting children aged 0–5 years
*Good understanding of safeguarding and early years practice
*Ability to provide satisfactory references
*Enhanced DBS (or willingness to undertake) in line with Ofsted requirements
