Job Description:
Aspire People is working in partnership with a friendly and supportive two-form entry primary school in Central Manchester who are seeking a Year 2 Teacher to join their team.
This is a well-organised school with strong leadership, excellent behaviour standards, and a clear focus on pupil wellbeing and staff support. The role would suit a teacher who enjoys lower KS1 and understands the importance of transition into KS2.
The Role
Full class teaching responsibility in Year 2
Planning and delivering engaging lessons across the primary curriculum
Supporting pupils with varied abilities, including some additional needs
Working closely with a parallel teacher and experienced TA support
Maintaining positive relationships with parents and carers
The Ideal Teacher
Holds QTS (ECTs welcome)
Has experience teaching in KS1
Is confident delivering phonics and early maths
Has strong classroom management and organisation skills
Is enthusiastic, reliable, and a strong team player
