Production Supervisor
Location: Maidenhead
Salary: £35-45k per annum
We are seeking an experienced Production Supervisor to join a growing manufacturing team. This is a hands-on leadership role overseeing electro-mechanical assembly operations, ensuring production targets, quality standards, and safety procedures are consistently met.
Key Responsibilities for the Production Supervisor:*Lead and supervise a team of assemblers within an electro-mechanical production environment.
*Coordinate daily workflow, allocate tasks, and monitor performance to meet production schedules.
*Ensure all products are assembled to specification, maintaining high quality and "right-first-time" standards.
*Train, mentor, and develop team members, promoting a culture of continuous improvement.
*Oversee 5S, health & safety compliance, and general shop-floor housekeeping.
*Collaborate with engineering, quality, and supply chain teams to resolve production issues.
*Support process improvements, root-cause analysis, and efficiency initiatives.
Skills & Experience required for the successful Production Supervisor:*Proven experience as a Production Supervisor or Team Leader within an electro-mechanical assembly environment.
*Strong understanding of electro-mechanical build processes, AC/DC wiring, hand tools, and assembly techniques.
*Ability to read engineering drawings, wiring diagrams, and technical documentation.
*Excellent communication skills and ability to motivate and drive a team.
*Strong problem-solving mindset with a focus on quality and continuous improvement.
*Good organisational skills with the ability to manage workload and priorities effectively.
Desirable Experience for the successful Production Supervisor:*Experience in a lean manufacturing environment.
*Knowledge of testing procedures for electro-mechanical assemblies.
*Experience implementing process improvements or training programmes.
