Job Description:
HR Manager | 3-Month FTC | Immediate Start | Leeds
Elevation HR are partnering with a fast-paced manufacturing business in Leeds to recruit an experienced HR Manager for a 3-month fixed-term contract. This is a standalone, sleeves-rolled-up role, ideal for someone immediately available who enjoys taking full ownership of the HR agenda and making an impact quickly.
You’ll work closely with senior leaders, translating business priorities into practical, people-focused solutions while confidently delivering across the full HR remit.
The role
*Act as a trusted HR partner to the Leadership Team, embedding values and supporting effective decision-making
*Deliver end-to-end HR support, balancing strategic input with hands-on execution
*Lead learning, development and capability-building initiatives that support both short-term needs and longer-term growth
*Review and manage reward, benefits and change activity to drive engagement and retention
*Own and manage benefits provision, including pensions, life assurance and private healthcare
*Drive engagement, wellbeing and culture initiatives that positively impact the employee experience
*Lead succession planning and talent development activity
*Oversee the full employee lifecycle, from recruitment through to exit
*Support and coach managers on all aspects of people management
*Use HR data and KPIs to identify trends, inform decisions and improve outcomes
About you
*An experienced HR professional with strong, up-to-date knowledge of employment law and best practice
*Comfortable operating in a standalone HR Manager role within a manufacturing or fast-paced environment
*Confident partnering with senior leaders and influencing at all levels
*Pragmatic, hands-on and able to hit the ground running
*CIPD qualified (or equivalent experience)
*Immediately available and happy to commit to a 3-month FTC
