Business Development Executive – Fire Doors & Passive Fire Protection
Location: Peterborough, Cambridgeshire
Company: Ark Fire Protection
Salary: Competitive (DOE) + Uncapped Commission
Hours: 8am – 5pm

The Role
As Business Development Executive, you’ll be at the front line of our commercial growth. You’ll identify new opportunities, build long-term relationships, and generate revenue across our fire door, passive and reactive fire protection services.
This is a role for someone who is motivated, proactive, and hungry to succeed. You’ll be supported with training, tools, and a strong operational team to help you win and deliver work confidently.
Key Responsibilities
*Develop and implement strategies to grow sales across fire doors and passive fire protection.
*Build strong relationships with contractors, developers, architects, and fire safety consultants.
*Identify new projects, markets, and partnerships.
*Prepare, present and follow up proposals and quotations to clients.
*Manage your sales pipeline and convert opportunities into long-term customers.
*Work closely with the Sales Manager and Operational teams to ensure smooth project delivery.
*Represent Ark Fire Protection professionally at meetings, site visits, and industry events.
What We’re Looking For
We’re interested in attitude as much as experience.
*Proven sales or business development experience with the fire protection industry is preferred, but not essential for the right candidate.
*We are willing to train someone with little or no industry experience, as long as you bring:
*Drive and ambition
*A hunger to learn
*Confidence and resilience
*A strong work ethic
*Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
*Self-motivated and results-driven mindset.
*Willingness to travel to meet clients when required.
