Procurement Specialist

£46,000 - £50,000
Client:
Castlefield Recruitment are working with a Kent based Public Sector organisation to recruit a Procurement Specialist on a permanent basis.
This role offers a salary of £46,000 - £50,000 dependant on candidates experience with 2 days on site presence required each week.
Duties include:
*Ensure the organisation deliver a range of procurement services to support a large and diverse group of customers through engagement and market intelligence
*Ensure competitions and awards appointed via internal frameworks and DPS are compliant and managed successfully to meet Client’s requirements
*Oversee and prepare tender documentation and ensure project is tendered compliantly
*Support the wider procurement team, ensuring customer expectations are met

Person:
*Experience and knowledge of running mini competitions and tenders
*Understanding of Public Contract Regulations and experience of working within public procurement
*Experience of framework usage and Dynamic Purchasing Systems (DPS’s)
