Sales Assistant – Retail | Shaftesbury & Gillingham
Location: Shaftesbury
Salary: DOE – increases after JET training; potential further review
Hours: 9:15am – 5:10pm, 5 days/week (37.1 hours). Day off normally Tuesday. Sundays usually closed; December Sunday shifts rotated fairly

Reports To: Manager / Deputy Manager

Key Responsibilities
*Deliver outstanding customer service and build lasting relationships
*Share product knowledge to maximise sales
*Motivate and support the team to achieve store targets
*Handle cash and card transactions accurately
*Maintain stock levels and update inventory systems
*Merchandise products to enhance presentation and sales
*Maintain and grow the customer database
*Provide after-sales support, including order and complaint follow-ups
*Monitor KPIs and understand how your work impacts store performance
*Ensure store is clean, secure, and organized
*Attend training, workshops, and meetings as required
*Follow company values, uniform guidelines, and professional communication standards

*Confident using till systems (experience with Bransom software is a plus)
*Positive, ambitious, and team-oriented
