Job Description:
Reed Finance are currently assisting a growing organisation in the Crawley area in the recruitment of a Revenue Manager to join their team on an initial temporary basis with the view to permanent. This role is crucial for driving revenue optimisation and site financial performance across their network. Reporting to the Financial Controller as Revenue Manager you will be responsible for the following duties:
Day-to-day of the role:
*Revenue Strategy & Pricing:*Analyse utilisation, customer behaviour, and competitor pricing to optimise tariffs.
*Support the launch of new pricing plans, subscriptions, and promotional campaigns.
*Explore dynamic pricing models across different locations, customer segments, and time-of-use structures.
*Performance Analysis:*Monitor revenue, utilisation, and margin performance across the charging network.
*Build dashboards and reports to track key revenue metrics.
*Identify under-performing sites and recommend pricing or operational changes.
*Financial Planning & Forecasting:*Prepare revenue forecasts for budgeting and long-term planning.
*Produce accurate client billing statements and monitor receipt of invoices.
*Ensure quick and complete resolution of client queries on billings.
*Manage month-end revenue booking into the P&L and ensure its accuracy.
*Systems & Data:*Support improvements in the customer journey (e.g., self-billing).
*Review and ensure data accuracy in the project management system.
*Identify and implement process improvements.
*Cross-functional Collaboration:*Support the legal team with billing-related lease queries during negotiations.
*Provide revenue insights and utilisation variances to senior management for monthly Board reporting.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
*3 years plus experience in revenue management, pricing, FP&A, or commercial finance.
*Preferred experience in energy, utilities, telecoms, or subscription-based businesses.
*Strong IT skills, proficient with MS Office Applications; advanced skills in Excel and/or BI tools.
*Experience with ERP or financial systems (e.g., NetSuite).
*Excellent communication, stakeholder-management, interpersonal, organisational, and time management skills.
*Degree in a relevant field is essential; professional finance qualification or equivalent experience is desirable.
