Are you passionate about supporting children with special educational needs? We’re recruiting dedicated and compassionate SEN Teaching Assistants (SENTAs) to work within a variety of nurturing and inclusive schools across The Wirral.
Your Role Will Include:*Providing 1:1 or small-group support to pupils with a range of additional needs
*Assisting teachers with tailored learning activities and adapted resources
*Supporting pupils with EHCP targets and personalised learning plans
*Helping with communication, emotional regulation, and social development
*Using positive behaviour strategies to promote a safe, supportive environment
*Working closely with teachers, SENCOs, and other professionals
We’re Looking For Candidates Who:*Have experience supporting children with SEN (ASD, ADHD, SEMH, SLD, PMLD, etc.)
*Are patient, empathetic, and skilled at building positive relationships
*Can adapt their support to meet individual needs
*Bring a calm, proactive, and nurturing approach
*Hold relevant SEN or behaviour training (Team Teach, Autism Awareness, etc.) – desirable but not essential
