An established and growing technology services provider is seeking an experienced Account Manager to drive client engagement and new business growth across its Managed Service solutions portfolio. This role is ideal for a motivated sales professional who thrives on building strong client relationships, generating new revenue, and delivering tailored solutions that create long-term value.
You will focus on securing new business opportunities while working collaboratively with internal technical and delivery teams to ensure seamless solution implementation and outstanding client outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
*Manage inbound leads and enquiries, qualifying and progressing opportunities.
*Identify and target prospective clients to generate new business opportunities.
*Maintain accurate and up-to-date customer data within the CRM system.
*Build, nurture, and maintain long-term client relationships, serving as the primary point of contact.
*Understand client requirements and propose tailored solutions aligned with standard service offerings.
*Develop and execute effective sales strategies to achieve revenue targets.
*Collaborate with technical and delivery teams to ensure successful implementation and high client satisfaction.
*Provide regular reporting on sales activity, pipeline performance, and revenue forecasts.
*Monitor and analyse sales KPIs and performance metrics.
*Proactively address and resolve challenges throughout the sales and onboarding process.
*Stay informed on industry trends, emerging technologies, and competitor activity to identify new opportunities.
Qualifications & Skills
*Proven track record in sales, ideally within IT, technology, or Managed Service environments.
*Strong commercial awareness and understanding of the MSP market.
*Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
*Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively within a team.
*Strong negotiation, presentation, and closing skills.
*Results-driven, self-motivated, and proactive mindset.
*Experience using CRM systems and sales tracking tools.
