Electrical Maintenance Supervisor
Doncaster
Salary £50,200
40 hours per week, typically worked over 4 days, Monday to Friday
Elevation Recruitment Group is working with a manufacturing business in Doncaster to recruit an Electrical Maintenance Supervisor.
The Electrical Maintenance Supervisor will lead day-to-day electrical and mechanical maintenance activity, including fault finding, planned maintenance and project work, while supporting the Maintenance Manager.
The Role
As Electrical Maintenance Supervisor, you will:
*Supervise electrical and mechanical maintenance across breakdowns, planned maintenance and project work
*Lead fault finding and repair activity to minimise downtime
*Work with PLC controlled equipment as part of ongoing maintenance and fault diagnosis
*Ensure all maintenance work is carried out safely and in line with health and safety procedures
*Issue and manage permits for employees and contractors
*Plan and manage maintenance workloads, including contractor activity on site
*Maintain accurate records using maintenance reporting systems
*Read and interpret multi-discipline engineering drawings
*Identify and maintain critical spares stock
*Create and work to risk assessments and method statements
*Support investigations and technical meetings when required
*Cover for shift absence when needed and maintain strong housekeeping standards
The Person
To be successful as an Electrical Maintenance Supervisor, you will need:
*Electrical qualification
*Proven experience working with PLC controlled machinery
*IOSH certification
*Experience in heavy industry and automated environments
*Previous experience supervising or leading engineers
*Good organisational skills and attention to detail
*The ability to work at heights and in confined spaces
