About the role

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Accounts and Audit Semi-Senior to join a well-established and growing accountancy practice in North Kent. This role is ideal for someone already working in Practice who is ready to step up and gain exposure to larger, more complex clients.

Working as an Accounts and Audit Semi-Senior, the successful candidate will become part of a friendly, supportive team where internal progression is actively encouraged.
Key responsibilities include:
*Preparation of statutory accounts and business tax for larger corporate and specialist clients
*Assisting with audits both in the office and at client premises
*Using IRIS, Sage, Xero and other accounting software
*Liaising directly with clients and attending meetings where required
*Training and supporting junior team members
What we are looking for

This role would suit an ambitious Accounts and Audit Semi-Senior who is keen to develop their technical skills and career within Practice.
The ideal candidate will:
*Be AAT qualified, ACA or ACCA studier, or qualified by experience
*Have experience gained within an accountancy practice
*Be confident working with accounts and audit assignments
*Enjoy working with clients and as part of a collaborative team
*Be motivated to progress and take on increased responsibility
