Job Description:
Learning Support Assistant - Reduced Hours (Immediate Start)
We’re currently recruiting a Learning Support Assistant to support a delightful and energetic child in a welcoming school in Barnet, just an 8-minute walk from Golders Green station.
Role details:
*Hours: 10:00am - 3:15pm (30-minute break)
*Start date: 23rd February
*Duration: Until the end of the school year
*Pay: £16.89 per hour
*Trial day: Thursday 12th February
About the role:
You’ll be supporting a very active, engaging child who benefits from clear structure and regular movement breaks to help him refocus during lessons. While he does not have a formal diagnosis, he displays traits associated with ADHD and needs support understanding expectations in the classroom.
A key part of the role involves playground support - being present during playtimes, keeping a close eye, guiding social interactions, and helping him make positive choices when needed.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone patient, proactive, and confident in supporting children with additional needs, particularly around focus, behaviour, and social development.
