Vital people are hiring QA & Hygiene Controller to join a leading food manufacturing company in Milton Keynes. This is an excellent opportunity for someone passionate about food safety, quality, and hygiene in a fast-paced environment.
Position – Permanent
Shifts - Mon-Fri 5:45-14:00
Pay Rate - £12.50ph
Responsibilities:
*Oversee night shift hygiene team, ensuring all cleaning procedures meet internal and legal standards.
*Monitor HACCP & food safety compliance, identifying and resolving non-conformances.
*Conduct internal audits (CCP, GMP, Glass & Plastic, etc.).
*Perform sampling, swabbing, and external lab testing.
*Collaborate with production, hygiene, and engineering teams to address technical issues.
*Ensure all process-related documentation is completed and compliant.
*Promote continuous improvement and sustainability initiatives.
What We’re Looking For:
*Previous experience in food manufacturing desirable (training provided).
*Knowledge of HACCP & food safety standards (desirable).
*Strong attention to detail and excellent communication skills.
*Ability to work independently and in a team.
*A proactive approach with problem-solving skills.
