HR Assistant (12 Month FTC)
My client, a prestigious and high performing organisation within the education sector based near Camden, London has an exciting opportunity to join their team as an HR Assistant for a 12 month period with potential to go permanent.
Joining a busy HR department, you will play a crucial role in providing generalist HR support for employees and ensure all personnel records, data, and policies are kept up to date. The HR Assistant also assists with recruitment, and safeguarding protocols.
The successful candidate will be entitled to a salary of £30-35k, alongside a generous benefits package.
Please note the role is to start in March/April therefore please ensure you are available for this timeframe.
The Role
*Provide general administrative support to the HR Department such as pre-employment checks, inductions, managing the HR inbox and assisting with HR queries
*Record, track and follow up on all training and agreement signing (Safeguarding, data protection etc.) in line with compliance guidelines
*Assist with recruitment such as managing calendars, arranging interviews and attending interviews
*Develop and maintain positive relationships with the team to advance the mission of the HR Office
*Any other ad-hoc duties within the scope and purpose of the role
The Ideal Candidate
*Prior experience as an HR Assistant or HR Administrator (Minimum 1 year)
*Prior experience in working in education, charity or healthcare
*Excellent verbal and written communication
*Ability to develop and maintain effective and collaborative working relationships across the organisation
*CIPD LV3 is not essential however desirable
