English Teacher - KS3 & KS4

*Job Type: Temporary (until end of academic year), Full-time or Part-time
*Location: Rural Angmering area
*Salary: Paid to scale
We are seeking a qualified English Teacher to join our team on a temporary basis from February half term until the end of the academic year.
This role is ideal for a dedicated educator who is passionate about teaching English and fostering a positive learning environment for students.
Day-to-day of the role:
*Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging English lessons that cater to the needs of all students.
*Assess and record students’ progress and provide grades and feedback.
*Maintain a stimulating classroom environment that promotes learning and enthusiasm.
*Adapt teaching methods and instructional materials to meet students’ varying needs and interests.
*Attend staff meetings and training sessions to remain current on educational practices and developments.
*Collaborate with other teachers, parents, and stakeholders to maximise student learning.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
*Must hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
*Proven experience as an English Teacher
*Up to date knowledge of the GCSE English Language and English Literature curriculum.
*Strong understanding of the UK curriculum and teaching standards.
*Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
*Good organisational and time-management skills.
*Ability to foster a collaborative and supportive teaching environment.
