English Teacher – Make a Real Impact!
Location: Sittingbourne
Contract: Permanent
Are you a Qualified English Teacher looking for a role where you can truly make a difference?
We’re seeking a passionate educator to join our specialist provision supporting students aged 14–18 who face significant barriers to learning. These young people may have experienced exclusion, disrupted education, or challenges related to SEMH and SEN needs—and they need someone who believes in their potential.
What You’ll Do:
*Teach English across KS3 and KS4
*Take on Form Tutor responsibilities
*Mentor and support students to achieve their best
*Deliver creative, inclusive lessons that build confidence and skills
*Be part of a team that values safeguarding, respect, and student voice
What We’re Looking For:
*QTS or QTLS qualified
*Calm, resilient, and empathetic
*Experience in SEN/SEMH settings is a bonus—but great teaching and the right mindset matter most
*Committed to helping students thrive academically, socially, and emotionally
Why Join Us?
*Small class sizes and personalised learning pathways
*Vocational and academic curriculum tailored to individual needs
*Strong focus on wellbeing, community projects, and outdoor learning
*A supportive team that works closely with families, agencies, and local authorities
*A chance to genuinely change lives
If you’re ready to teach with purpose and passion, we’d love to hear from you.
