Looking for a hands-on engineering role with real purpose? We’re recruiting an Installation Engineer to join an established team delivering engineered environmental protection systems across critical infrastructure and industrial sites. This role suits someone who enjoys seeing projects through from initial survey to final commissioning while working on varied, compliance-led installations in the field.
About the Client:
We’re supporting a well-established UK organisation operating within the environmental and infrastructure sector. The business designs, installs and maintains engineered systems that help prevent environmental incidents and is known for its strong technical capability, safety culture and continued investment in its engineering teams.
What You’ll Be Doing:
* Carrying out site surveys and supporting project planning
* Installing and commissioning electrical and mechanical systems
* Assembling and installing control panels and automation equipment
* Supporting PLC and CAD-based design work (training available)
* Installing automated monitoring and environmental protection systems
* Carrying out system testing, fault-finding and final sign-off
* Supporting audits, inspections and system improvement works
* Working collaboratively with engineers, contractors and suppliers
* Travelling to customer sites across the region with occasional overnight stays
* Working in line with health & safety and compliance standards at all times
What We Need From You:
* Electrical qualification to Level 3 NVQ / City & Guilds or equivalent
* Experience delivering engineering installations in industrial or environmental settings
* Strong hands-on installation background with a practical approach
* 18th Edition
* Organised, methodical approach with strong problem-solving skills
* Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel
* Right to work in the UK
