PE Teacher – Secondary SEN Setting
Location: Sheerness, Kent
Start Date: ASAP
Contract Type: Full-Time, Long-Term (with potential for permanent placement)
Are you passionate about inspiring young people through physical education? Do you have experience working with students who have special educational needs (SEN)? We are currently seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic PE Teacher to join a supportive secondary SEN school in Sheerness.
The Role:
*Deliver engaging and inclusive PE lessons tailored to students with a range of needs and abilities.
*Promote physical wellbeing, teamwork, and confidence through structured activities and sports.
*Work collaboratively with teaching assistants and the wider school team to support individual learning plans.
*Contribute to the wider school community through extracurricular activities and events.
The Ideal Candidate Will Have:
*Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
*Experience working in SEN settings or with students who have additional needs.
*A strong understanding of differentiated teaching strategies in PE.
*Excellent communication and behaviour management skills.
*A genuine passion for making a difference in young people’s lives.
