Salary: £60,000 - £80,000 (dependent on experience and capability)
Employment Type: PAYE only (no LTD contractors)

The Role
We are currently seeking an experienced Project Engineer to join a major commercial office development programme in the City of London. The role sits within a high-profile mechanical and public health engineering package, supporting the delivery of complex, large-scale office projects.
This position offers exposure to multiple projects and the opportunity to take ownership of key mechanical packages from design through to commissioning and handover.
Key Responsibilities
*Management and delivery of one or more mechanical engineering packages on a major commercial office development
*Oversight of engineering coordination, technical submissions, and compliance with design and specification
*Package management, including subcontractor coordination, progress tracking, and quality control
*Supporting and managing commissioning activities and handover documentation
*Planning and sequencing works in line with overall project programmes
*Liaising with project management, design teams, consultants, and site teams to ensure smooth delivery
*Identifying and resolving technical and delivery challenges on site
About You
*Proven experience working as a Project Engineer (or similar) on large commercial building projects
*Strong background in mechanical and/or public health engineering
*Experience managing subcontractors and mechanical packages on projects valued £30m+
*Comfortable working on fast-paced, city-centre commercial developments
*Strong organisational, communication, and coordination skills
