Role Overview We are recruiting a Project Manager to oversee the delivery of small works and smaller-scale projects within the fire industry. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys managing multiple live jobs, coordinating engineers and subcontractors, and seeing work through from survey to completion.
The projects will not be large-scale, high-value programmes, but rather a steady flow of smaller, fast-moving works that require strong organisation, customer communication, and commercial awareness.

Key Responsibilities * Manage the delivery of small works and project jobs from initial survey through to completion
* Attend site to assess scope, design requirements, and installation needs
* Compile technical quotations in line with industry standards and internal pricing tools
* Liaise with customers to manage expectations and improve quote-to-order conversion
* Coordinate engineers and subcontractors to ensure works are completed on time
* Schedule works and resources efficiently across multiple live jobs
* Maintain accurate records using the company ERP system
* Monitor progress and provide regular updates to internal stakeholders
* Identify risks and resolve issues that may impact delivery
* Raise purchase orders for materials and subcontract services
* Track delivery of parts to site or engineers
* Invoice customers and follow up as required
* Complete project handovers and resolve any post-completion issues
* Ensure health and safety compliance at all times, including PPE and safe working practices
* Support quality audits and health & safety toolbox talks
Experience & Skills Required * Proven Project Manager experience within fire systems, ideally small works or service-led projects
* Experience with fire installation and commissioning
* FIA qualifications or equivalent, with strong knowledge of BS 5839
