About the Role Vanta Staffing are looking for an experienced Recruitment Consultant to join our very busy Industrial recruitment desk in Maidenhead. This is a hands-on, fast-paced role focused on candidate management, filling bookings, and delivering a high level of service to existing clients.
You’ll be on the phone all day—speaking with candidates, managing availability, filling shifts, and keeping things moving when priorities change. This role suits someone who enjoys a busy, reactive desk and thrives in a high-volume environment.
Key Responsibilities * Managing the end-to-end recruitment process for Industrial roles
(warehouse, production, pick/pack, hygiene, FLT, etc.)

* High-volume CV screening, interviewing, and shortlisting

* Proactively sourcing candidates via job boards, databases, referrals, and social media

* Filling daily and weekly bookings—confirming availability and getting workers to site

* Speaking with candidates constantly: interviews, shift bookings, attendance checks, and ongoing engagement

* Coordinating start dates, shift details, inductions, and last-minute cover

* Building and maintaining strong relationships with workers and internal stakeholders

* Ensuring CRM accuracy and full compliance (RTW checks, documentation)

* Supporting the wider branch team to maintain high fill rates and service levels

* Taking part in an on-call rota to support out-of-hours cover as required

What We’re Looking For * Previous recruitment experience is essential
(industrial/high-volume recruitment strongly preferred)

* Confident communicator with a strong phone manner

* Organised, proactive, and able to think on your feet

* Comfortable managing pressure in a fast-moving environment

* A genuine team player—reliable, supportive, and hands-on

* Strong attention to detail and good IT skills
(CRM systems, job boards, Outlook, Excel)
