The Accounts Payable Manager will oversee all aspects of the accounts payable process within the energy and natural resources industry, ensuring accuracy and efficiency. This permanent position requires expertise in accounting and finance to support operational success.

Description
· Manage the full accounts payable process, ensuring accuracy and timeliness of payments.
· Lead on implementing best controls and practice in relation to the AP function.
· Coach, develop and manage the wider Accounts Payable division.
· Oversee vendor relationships, resolving any payment discrepancies effectively.
· Develop and implement accounts payable policies and procedures.
· Coordinate with internal departments to ensure proper expense allocations.
· Prepare and review accounts payable reports to support financial planning.
· Ensure compliance with all relevant accounting regulations and standards.
· Collaborate with the finance department to support audits and reporting requirements.
Profile
A successful Accounts Payable Manager should have:
· Strong knowledge of accounts payable processes and accounting principles.
· Prior experience dealing with a systems implementation.
· Experience in the infrastructure space is advantageous.
· Proficiency in relevant accounting software and tools.
· Excellent organisational and multitasking skills.
· Attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining accuracy.
· Proven ability to lead and motivate a team effectively.
· Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
