Job Description:
Parts Manager
Lead a team, shape a department, and drive parts performance at a high-profile depot. This role gives you the chance to take ownership of a busy Parts Department where your decisions have a direct impact on customer service and branch results.
What you will do
You will coordinate and distribute the team’s workload to maximise parts sales while keeping a close eye on stock quality and quantities. You will also manage a small team, developing their skills and ensuring they deliver excellent service.
Your key responsibilities include:
*Organising and maintaining the Parts Department, ensuring a clean, efficient, and safe working environment.
*Executing all parts processes accurately and consistently.
*Managing supplier and manufacturer relationships to secure competitive pricing.
*Submitting parts warranty and return claims within required timeframes to achieve maximum credit.
*Overseeing the day-to-day running of the department to meet branch performance targets.
*Training, developing, and motivating your team.
*Ensuring customers receive a high-quality service that consistently exceeds expectations.
What you will bring
*3–5 years’ experience in the parts business.
*Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and guide others.
*Confidence in analysing and interpreting internal reports.
*Ability to use standard computer applications and internet functions.
*High-level communication and interpersonal skills.
*Familiarity with John Deere products and competitors.
*Flexibility to work extended hours and weekends when needed.
