Job Description:
Job Title: Project Manager (National)
Type: Full-time, Permanent
Location: Home based (National Role) - office based in Droitwich with attendance once a week
Salary: £60,000 plus a company car (following a qualifying period)
Hours: Full-time - flexible working hours and working from home available
BRC are working closely with a well-established leisure and hospitality organisation to recruit an experienced Project Manager to support the delivery of high-quality commercial developments across the UK. This is an exciting opportunity for an ambitious and well-rounded construction professional to join a growing business, working on a varied portfolio of commercial projects primarily within the leisure and hospitality sector. The role incorporates elements of both Project Management and Surveying and offers the opportunity to influence design decisions throughout the construction process.
Duties:
*Completing building surveys and providing professional advice on design, construction, repair, and refurbishment
*Establishing project briefs and developing designs and specifications for works
*Managing tender processes and appointing designers and contractors
*Designing and overseeing works using recognised building contracts and current technical standards
*Undertaking project inspections at key stages
*Managing projects typically ranging in value from £10k to £500k
*Working closely with senior stakeholders to ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget
Requirements:
*Proven experience in Project Management within construction or commercial development
*Background in building surveying, construction management, or construction consultancy
*Strong knowledge of building contracts and technical standards
*Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
*Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
*Professional qualification (or working towards) with RICS, CIOB or a similar body is desirable
