Sales Negotiator – Edinburgh (Maternity Cover)

Contract: 12-Month Fixed Term (Immediate Start)
Salary: £30,000 - £33,000 + benefits
An established and highly reputable property organisation is seeking an experienced Sales Negotiator to join their busy Estate Agency team in Edinburgh. This is a maternity cover contract with the potential for a quick start.
The team pride themselves on delivering exceptional service during what can be a stressful time for buyers and sellers. You’ll join a supportive, collaborative environment with colleagues across multiple UK locations.
The Role
You will be responsible for managing a full portfolio of properties and supporting clients from listing through to offer agreement. Daily duties include:
*Managing a caseload of properties, providing weekly updates and progressing sales.
*Negotiating offers and maintaining strong client relationships throughout the process.
*Monitoring property performance and suggesting marketing or strategic adjustments when required.
*Liaising with solicitors, buyers, sellers, and other agents to ensure smooth progression.
*Updating internal systems regularly with accurate information.
*Booking property valuations and gathering relevant details for valuers.
*Providing prompt feedback after viewings (within 24 hours).
*Handling general administration, incoming calls, and delivering excellent customer service.
*Supporting referral generation for financial services, conveyancing, and related property services.
What We’re Looking For
Essential:
*Up-to-date property market knowledge.
*Previous experience in residential property sales or negotiation.
*Strong organisational and time-management skills.
*Confident communicator, both face-to-face and by phone.
*Proficient in Microsoft Office and comfortable with CRM systems.
*Ability to work independently and as part of a fast-paced team.
