Job Description:
Mechanical Technician
Use your mechanical expertise to restore vehicles to their best and work with leading automotive brands. In this role, your skills directly support high-quality accident repair and keep customers safely on the road.
What you will do
You will join Ripon Paint & Body, an accident and repair centre within the Ripon Farm Services Group. Working in modern, purpose-built facilities, you will complete mechanical repairs for manufacturers, insurance companies, and the public.
Your day-to-day work will include:
*Completing mechanical, electrical and trim repairs on accident-damaged vehicles.
*Servicing, repairing, and maintaining a wide range of vehicles to high standards.
*Diagnosing mechanical and electrical faults using computer-based diagnostic equipment.
*Repairing company fleet vehicles as required.
*Recording job times and completing all documentation accurately.
*Undertaking training to ensure compliance with repair approvals.
*Working to meet the standards of multiple approved manufacturers.
What you will bring
*Previous experience as a Mechanic; MOT certification is an advantage.
*IMI Level 3 in Light or Heavy Vehicle Maintenance & Repair, or an equivalent qualification.
*Experience in a manufacturer repair centre.
*Ability to diagnose issues accurately and complete repairs to a high standard.
*Strong attention to detail and confidence working with diagnostic tools.
Schedule
*8-hour shift
*Monday to Friday
*Overtime available
*On-site, in-person role
