Job Description:
Jacob Grey have just partnered with a successful, niche manufacturing business in Stevenage to appoint a new Financial Controller.
Reporting to a charismatic and seasoned Managing Director, your duties will include:
*Overseeing the day to day running of the finance department including management and training of a small team
*Preparation of the monthly management accounts with commentary and variance analysis
*Balancesheet reconciliations and P&L
*Accruals, prepayments and journal entries
*Cashflow forecasting
*Preparation of Budgets and Forecasts
*Working closely with the senior leadership team, providing strategic advice based on sound financial analysis
*Bank reconciliations
*VAT returns
*Liaising with the auditors at Year End
*Process improvement where applicable
The successful candidate can be Qualified, Part Qualified or QBE. It is essential however that you possess a track record of success in similar roles, a keen eye for detail, tons of initiative, and an analytical mind.
