Job Description:
Part-Time Temporary Finance & Fundraising Administrator
Location: Edinburgh
Contract: Part-time (3 days per week), temporary
Duration: Approx. 2 months initially, with possible extension
Start: Ideally next week
We are seeking a detail-oriented Finance & Fundraising Administrator to support our Development Office on a temporary, part-time basis.
Key responsibilities:
*Processing and recording fundraising income (donations, pledges, events and campaigns).
*Reconciling income in Raiser’s Edge/NXT with bank statements and finance reports.
*Preparing batches, journals and supporting documentation for Finance.
*Monitoring pledged income and supporting Gift Aid administration.
*Assisting with budget tracking, purchase orders and supplier liaison.
*Monitoring departmental credit card transactions and paperwork.
Systems used: Bankline, Raiser’s Edge NXT, Lightyear, Equals and potentially PASS
About you:
*Previous finance or accounts experience, including reconciliation and reporting.
*Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.
*Fundraising or charity experience would be advantageous
