This fantastic hybrid opportunity has arisen with a Surrey based charity, which seeks to appoint a positive and team oriented accounts professional.
What the role looks like:
*Support the production of accounts to trial balance
*Responsibility for transactional accounts to include sales ledger and assisting with purchase ledger when required
*Perform monthly reconciliations of creditors’ statements
*Responsible completing/posting monthly journals and accruals
*Responsible for the fixed asset register
*Keep cash books for the various bank accounts up to date on a daily basis and reconcile the bank daily.
*Responsibility for month end ledger reconciliation
*Producing monthly cash reports
*Assist Head of Finance in month/year end closures (including audit queries).
What we’re looking for in you
*Competent with finance software systems
*A track record in transactional accounts (assisting with month end would be a bonus)
*Keen to participate in the continuous improvement of the department
*Keen to experience a broad spectrum of responsibilities within the transactional finance function
