Job Title: Customer Service Executive - Maternity Contract
Reporting To: Customer Service Manager
Maternity Contract starting End of March
Witham - 5 Days a week in the office
Salary - up to £32,000
Our client, located in Witham, is on the lookout for an experienced Customer Service professional to provide support to the Sales team as well as working directly with UK customers. Experience within a similar role / manufacturing is highly desirable as well as managing a portfolio of UK customers.
Successful applicants will have previous office-based customer service experience and comfortable with speaking with customers over the phone, providing an exceptional service at all times.
Key Areas of Responsibility:
1. Manage a portfolio of UK customers’ orders, liaising with internal departments including Operations as well as both external partners and haulage providers to ensure that deliveries are made according to customers’ requirements.
2. You will play a vital role in ensuring regulatory compliance relating to HMRC Customs & Excise procedures.
3. Provide support to the Sales Managers as required.
4. Identify and communicate opportunities for the improvement of our service to customers.
5. Provide cover as required for similar administrative functions within the company and undertake any other appropriate duties as requested.
6. Actively support and suggest sustainable goals linked to the role, including environment, colleagues, and stakeholders.
Person Specification:
*Minimum 3 years’ customer service experience.
*Experience within the Manufacturing industry l
*Excellent customer service.
*Handling and resolving problems or experience scheduling.
*Strong IT skills (competent with MS Office)
*Able to deal calmly and effectively with customers and bring the matter to a satisfactory conclusion.
