Job Description:
Quality Assurance Specialist
Walker Cole International is partnering with an innovative UK pharmaceutical manufacturer to appoint a Quality Specialist. This role will play a key part in maintaining GMP compliance and inspection readiness across a state-of-the-art laboratory operation
Key Responsibilities for a Quality Assurance Specialist:
*Maintain and develop the GMP Quality Management System, ensuring ongoing inspection readiness
*Manage Quality Events, including deviations, CAPAs, and change controls
*Write, review, and maintain SOPs, records, and controlled documentation in line with GDP
*Support and oversee self-inspections, audits, and risk assessments
*Work cross-functionally with Production, Quality Control, Growing, and Commercial teams to support safe and efficient product release
*Support supplier and customer approval activities and liaise with external QA functions
A Quality Specialist will have:
*Strong understanding of GMP compliance and inspection readiness
*Hands-on experience managing a QMS and Quality Events
*Ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-growing manufacturing environment
*Relevant Life Sciences or equivalent bachelor’s degree
