Business Development Consultant
Location: Cape Town (office-based role five days per week)
Reports to: Managing Director and Lettings Director
Salary: Circa R225,500 per annum basic salary + commission
Benefits: R2000 per calendar month medical contribution, holiday accrual scheme
Overview
We are looking for two driven and confident individuals to join our clients Cape Town based, Business Development team.
This role offers the chance to work closely with both London lettings teams and our network of Self-Employed Partners, supporting a wide range of clients with London-based properties. This is an exciting opportunity for someone motivated by targets, great earning potential, client contact, and fast-paced, high volume work.
Responsibilities
• Provide responsive, professional support to inbound client, partner and applicant enquiries
• Make proactive outbound calls to generate new valuation and instruction opportunities
• Build strong relationships with clients over the phone
• Create, drive and follow up on valuation opportunities
• Book lettings valuations directly into the Lettings Director’s diary
• Generate and chase sales valuation opportunities, booking them into Partners’ diaries where relevant
• Support and refer business to departments, Self-Employed Partners and approved external partners
• Proactively tout properties listed with other agents and identify potential opportunities
• Work towards clear targets (e.g., call volume, valuations booked, instructions gained, referrals
made)
Requirements
• Excellent telephone manner and written communication skills
• Strong customer-service mindset
• Natural sales ability with confidence in converting opportunities
• Focused, competitive and self-driven
• Previous sales experience helpful but not essentia
