Maths Lecturer (GCSE, Functional Skills & A Level) – Nantwich, South Cheshire
Salary: £33,000 (FTE)
Location: Nantwich, South Cheshire
Contract: Permanent, part-time (0.7)
Reed Further Education are working with a respected education provider in South Cheshire who are seeking a dedicated Maths Lecturer to join their dynamic team and deliver high-quality learning across GCSE, Functional Skills (Entry to Level 2) and A Level Maths.
Responsibilities
• Deliver planned learning in line with curriculum requirements

• Prepare schemes of work, lesson plans and learning materials

• Mark work, provide constructive feedback and track learner progress

• Support learners with exam preparation and resit processes

• Create an engaging and inclusive learning environment

• Contribute to curriculum development and quality processes
Requirements:
• UK-recognised teaching qualification (PGCE, CertEd, DTLLS/PGDE or equivalent)

• Degree or relevant qualification in Maths or a closely related subject

• Experience teaching GCSE Maths, Functional Skills Maths or A Level Maths

• Strong communication and organisational skills

• Passion for supporting learners of mixed abilities
All candidates who register with Reed Further Education will have 2 years’ referencing taken up and will be required to have a DBS check completed. All offers are conditional upon satisfactory background checks. Reed Further Education is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people and expects all staff to share this commitment by completing mandatory training within 6 weeks of your first assignment and annually thereafter.
