Customer Service Executive
Location: Bentley Bridge, Willenhall, WV11 1XR
Hours: 40 hours per week - Monday to Friday, 8:30am – 5:30pm
Salary: £27,000.00 base + bonus scheme (opportunity to earn up to £32,000.00)
Contract: Permanent (3-month probation period)
Holiday: 20 days per annum plus UK public holidays
We are currently seeking a confident, motivated, and customer-focused Customer Service Executive to join our newly established Sales & Support Team, dedicated to centralising sales operations across our nationwide depot network. This is an excellent opportunity for an energetic individual who is passionate about delivering outstanding customer service while supporting sales activity and building strong client relationships.
In this role, you will be responsible for handling new business enquiries, liaising with customers regarding potential hires, and developing client relationships over the phone. You will also provide sales support including generating new business opportunities, and following up warm and cold leads. You will need to manage customer data accurately, and work closely with colleagues across multiple business units. Strong communication, organisation, and resilience are essential, as you will be working in a high-volume, target-driven environment.
Key responsibilities will include:
*Handling inbound and outbound customer enquiries across multiple communication channels, including telephone, live chat, and email
*Preparing and issuing quotations, processing bookings, and managing payments in accordance with established company systems, policies and procedures
*Following up new and existing leads and converting opportunities into confirmed sales
*Developing and maintaining strong customer relationships by telephone
*Proactively generating new business through outbound telephone sales
*Supporting sales activity and meeting agreed call and performance standards
*Providing excellent customer service throughout the hire journey
*Accurate data entry and maintenance of customer records
*Communicating effectively with internal teams across the business
The successful candidate will have:
*A minimum of 2 years’ experience in a phone-based sales or customer service role preferred, full training will be provided
*Outstanding telephone manner and communication skills
*Proven ability to work towards and achieve call or performance targets
*Strong attention to detail with accurate data entry skills
*IT literacy, including confident use of Microsoft Office applications
*Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
*A proactive, enthusiastic, and organised approach to work
*The ability to build rapport and develop effective working relationships
*Experience within the events industry advantageous but not essential
