Job Description:
We are looking for an experienced and motivated Head Chef to run a small, daytime café within a contract catering site. This is a hands-on role, perfect for a chef who enjoys autonomy, work–life balance, and delivering quality food in a calm, weekday-only environment.

Key Responsibilities of Head chef:
*Full responsibility for the daily operation of a small café (working alone)
*Preparing and serving fresh breakfasts and lunches
*Menu planning within agreed budgets and client expectations
*Ordering, stock control, and minimising waste
*Maintaining high standards of food safety, hygiene, and cleanliness
*Delivering friendly, consistent service to regular customers
*Managing all kitchen paperwork (HACCP, allergen compliance, etc.)
About you:
*Previous experience as a Head Chef or strong Sous Chef ready to step up
*Comfortable working independently as a one-person team
*Strong organisational and time-management skills
*Passion for fresh, simple, well-executed food
*Solid knowledge of food safety and allergen legislation
*Reliable, professional, and customer-focused
