Vehicle Technician
Location: Bisley
Salary: £35,000 - £45,000 per annum
We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Technician to carry out mechanical maintenance, fault-finding, and overhaul activities on rotating and static equipment within an industrial engineering environment.
Key Responsibilities
*Perform planned and reactive mechanical maintenance on motors, gearboxes, pumps, and associated equipment.
*Carry out mechanical overhauls, alignment, dismantling, and reassembly to OEM standards.
*Diagnose mechanical faults, including wear, misalignment, and vibration-related issues.
*Complete maintenance documentation using CMMS systems.
*Work safely under Permit to Work, LOTO, and site safety procedures.
*Operate lifting and access equipment where required.
Requirements
*NVQ Level 3 or above in Mechanical Engineering (or equivalent).
*Proven experience in mechanical maintenance within an industrial or engineering environment.
*Strong fault-finding skills and safety awareness.
This role may involve shift work, shutdowns, and emergency call-outs.
