Job Description:
Interim Buyer - Redruth - £32-34k
Well Placed HR have been assigned by a long-standing client who seek to recruit an Interim Buyer for a unique and highly successful listed services business based in Pool.
We are seeking a candidate with previous experience in a similar buyer-based role. The role duties will include:
*Raising purchase orders in the purchasing system based on quotations provided by end users.
*Send approved purchase orders to suppliers and ensure confirmation of receipt.
*Obtain quotations for requirements that are sent by end users without pricing.
*Expedite open purchase orders to confirm delivery status and close them in the system once complete.
*Cleanse and update the supplier database, removing duplicates and adding missing information where required.
*Support the procurement team with other routine administrative and transactional tasks as needed.
Previous experience within a buyer role is preferred, however this role is heavily administrative and those with excellent administration skills in a relevant industry (engineering) may be considered. This role is offered on a full time, interim (6 month) basis and the successful candidate will work onsite in Pool. Working hours for this role will be Monday-Friday 8am – 4pm.
