Job Description:
An established and growing business based in the North Birmingham area is seeking a proactive and reliable Credit Controller to join their finance team. This role has been created due to continued growth and offers an excellent opportunity to join a well-run, fast-paced organisation with a supportive working culture.
Working as part of a collaborative finance team, you will take responsibility for managing your own ledger, ensuring outstanding debt is collected in a timely and professional manner. You will build strong relationships with customers and internal stakeholders, resolve account queries, allocate payments, produce aged debt reports, and support month-end activities. The ability to work to deadlines while maintaining accuracy and professionalism is key.
Skills required:
*Previous experience in credit control or accounts receivable within a fast-paced environment
*Strong communication skills and confidence dealing with customers by phone and email
*Good organisational skills with excellent attention to detail
*Experience using accounting systems or the ability to learn new systems quickly
