A highly progressive, technology-driven Independent Financial Advisory firm based near Braintree is seeking a Diploma-qualified Technical Paraplanner to join its growing team.
Managing approximately £200 million AUM, the firm places strong emphasis on data accuracy, efficiency, and process-led advice. This is an excellent opportunity for a detail-driven paraplanner who thrives in a professional, adviser-led environment and enjoys working with high-quality clients.
The Role
You will support 3 advisers, working across a sophisticated bank of high-value clients. The role is focused on delivering high-quality technical output while maintaining exemplary data and operational standards.
Key responsibilities include:
*Producing high-quality suitability reports, technical calculations, and client documentation
*Supporting advisers with pre- and post-advice work across investments, pensions, and financial planning
*Maintaining accurate and up-to-date client records, registers, and back-office data
*Ensuring operational excellence and adherence to internal processes and compliance standards
*Working closely with advisers in a fast-paced, office-based environment
*Leveraging technology to improve efficiency, workflow, and overall advice delivery
The Ideal Candidate
This role will suit a paraplanner who:
*Is Diploma qualified (or equivalent)
*Produces exceptional technical work and clear, professional client letters
*Is highly detail-oriented, diligent, and dependable
*Is operationally strong and comfortable managing large volumes of client data
*Enjoys working in a tech-led, process-driven firm
*Is focused on efficiency and continuous improvement
*Is comfortable in a non-client-facing support role

While Chartered status is not essential, strong technical competence is expected. Real-world ability, efficiency, and professionalism are prioritised over qualifications alone.
