?? Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer (Food Manufacturing) Location: Dudley
Salary: £55,780 + Overtime
Shift Pattern: Contis
We are recruiting a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer to join a high-performing engineering team within a fast-paced FMCG manufacturing environment. This is a hands-on role requiring someone who can hit the ground running and support production across processing and packaging operations.
?? Key Responsibilities * Maintain and repair production and packaging machinery
* Work on equipment including:
* Mixing vessels and blenders
* Pumps, fillers, cappers, and conveyors
* Pasteurisers, cookers, and heat exchangers
* Packaging and labelling machinery
* Electrical fault-finding on single and three-phase systems
* PLC fault-finding (Siemens / Allen Bradley preferred)
* Maintain motors, inverters, sensors, and control panels
* Diagnose electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic faults
* Work in line with BRCGS, HACCP, and GMP standards
?? Skills & Experience Required * Recognised engineering qualification (NVQ Level 3, City & Guilds, BTEC or equivalent)
* PLC fault-finding experience
* 18th Edition Wiring Regulations
* Background in Food/FMCG manufacturing highly desirable
* Able to work independently in a fast-moving environment
?? Shift Pattern * Continental shift:
* Days: 06:00 - 18:00, Mon-Thurs (4 on / 3 off)
* Nights: 18:00 - 06:00, Mon-Thurs (4 on / 3 off)
* Moving to 4 on / 4 off later in the year
