Job Description:
Payroll/ HR Assistant
Salary: Up to £27,000+
Our client is recruiting for an experienced Payroll Administrator to join their team. Due to business demands this role is on an ongoing temporary basis.
*Administer end-to-end payroll processing using systems such as Workday and their internal payroll software.
*Perform accurate data entry related to employee hours, deductions, and benefits.
*Maintain and update employee records with current information, ensuring compliance with organisational policies and legal requirements.
*Reconcile payroll data, analyse discrepancies, and resolve issues promptly.
*Processing weekly and monthly payroll
*Processing SSP, Holiday pay, SMP and SPP as required
*Perform HR administration duties to support the team
*New starters, leavers, changes to terms
*Administer company policies
*General ad hoc duties at the request of the HR team.
Experience
*Proven experience as a Payroll Administrator coupled with HR administration experience
*Payroll experience ESSENTIAL
*Proficiency with payroll systems
*Strong knowledge of payroll software and data entry procedures.
*Excellent analysis skills with the ability to identify discrepancies and resolve issues efficiently.
*Familiarity with human resources practices and employment legislation relevant to payroll processing.
