Job Description:
Aspire People is recruiting a passionate unqualified Teaching Assistant to join a friendly primary school in Manchester.
This role is perfect for individuals who have experience working with children in schools, youth services, or child support roles over the last 2 years but don’t hold formal qualifications. Your experience matters, and we’ll support you to grow your career.
The Role
Support classroom teachers with daily teaching activities
Work 1:1 or in small groups to help pupils access the curriculum
Assist with behaviour management and encourage positive learning habits
Support emotional wellbeing and social skills development
Help with practical classroom tasks, organisation, and routines
The Ideal Candidate
Recent experience working with children in schools, youth work, childcare, mentoring, or similar roles
Patient, empathetic, and proactive
Confident communicating with children, parents, and staff
Able to support a variety of pupils, including those with additional needs
Committed to safeguarding and child development
