You’ll sit within a client-focused finance team, playing a key role in producing full monthly management accounts packs across a varied portfolio.

What’s the role?
You’ll be embedded in the monthly reporting cycle and exposed to the full management accounts process, including:
*Assisting with preparation of monthly management accounts
*Producing and posting journals
*Supporting month-end sales recharge postings and reconciliations
*Preparing prepayments and accruals
*Completing monthly balance sheet reconciliations
*Producing detailed monthly financial packs for stakeholders
*Bank account reconciliations
*Acting as an internal contact for accounting queries
*Supporting with ad-hoc finance tasks as required
The scope of the role will evolve as the business continues to grow, giving you the opportunity to take on more responsibility over time.
What do you need?
*2-3 years’ experience within an accounting or finance function
*Current AAT studies or early-stage ACCA / CIMA / ACA
*Purchase ledger exposure
*The ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
*Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
*A methodical, detail-focused approach
Beyond experience, attitude matters.
You’ll need to be self-motivated, adaptable, comfortable working both independently and as part of a team, and confident enough to take initiative when required.
