We’re looking for an experienced and motivated Senior Care Coordinator to join a growing domiciliary care team. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced care environment and is ready to take the next step toward a more people-focused, HR-aligned career path.
What You’ll Be Doing as Senior Care Coordinator
As a Senior Care Coordinator, you’ll play a key role in ensuring high-quality care is delivered to people in their own homes. You’ll support the smooth running of the service and the training of 2 care coordinators while taking on additional responsibilities that prepare you for future progression into HR, compliance, or operational leadership.
Your core responsibilities will include:
*Coordinating daily care schedules and ensuring all visits are covered safely and efficiently

*Supporting care staff with guidance, problem-solving and day-to-day leadership

*Acting as a point of contact for clients, families and external professionals

*Managing urgent changes, responding to incidents and ensuring continuity of care

*Completing care assessments, reviews and quality checks

*Maintaining accurate records and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards

*Assisting with recruitment tasks such as interviewing, onboarding and training

*Supporting HR-related duties including staff supervision, performance monitoring and wellbeing initiatives

What We’re Looking For in a Senior Care Coordinator
You’ll be a great fit if you are:
*Experienced in domiciliary care coordination or a similar role

*Confident managing schedules, staff and client needs

*Calm under pressure and able to make quick, safe decisions

*Organised, proactive and able to prioritise effectively

*A strong communicator with a supportive leadership style

*Passionate about delivering excellent care and developing others

Essential requirements:
*Previous experience in care coordination

*Strong understanding of CQC expectations

*Good IT and administrative skills (Usage of People Planner)

*Full UK driving licence
