We’re looking for a detail-oriented Payroll Assistant to join a busy Payroll team based in Uxbridge. You’ll be part of a friendly team of four, responsible for delivering a fully comprehensive, start-to-finish payroll service for approximately 3,000 employees.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone with existing, high-volume payroll experience who is looking to develop their skills within a collaborative, supportive environment.

Key Responsibilities
*Assist in the end-to-end processing of monthly payroll for c.3,000 employees
*Prepare, verify, and input payroll data accurately and on time
*Handle starters, leavers, salary changes, and statutory payments (SSP, SMP, SPP etc.)
*Resolve payroll queries promptly and professionally
*Ensure compliance with current legislation and company policies
*Support payroll year-end activities including P60s, P11Ds, and HMRC submissions
*Work closely with HR and Finance to maintain accurate employee records

Key Skills & Experience
*Previous payroll experience in a busy environment
*Strong numerical accuracy and attention to detail
*Good understanding of UK payroll legislation
*Proficient in MS Excel and payroll systems
*Excellent communication and organisational skills
*A team player with a proactive and flexible approach
