Credit Operations Customer Care Specialist
£13.00 - £13.50 ph

Full time, rolling contract | Office based
The Role
We are recruiting on behalf of a well established organisation within the consumer finance sector seeking a proactive and customer focused individual to join their Credit Operations team.
You will play a key role in delivering a best in class service to customers and retail partners by handling enquiries, processing contract changes and ensuring all transactions are completed accurately and efficiently. You will take ownership of queries from start to resolution while ensuring full compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies.
Key duties include processing in life contract changes such as early settlements and voluntary terminations, responding to inbound and outbound enquiries, updating internal systems, managing work queues and contributing to service improvements and departmental projects.
About You
You are confident, professional and customer focused. You are comfortable working in a regulated environment and understand the importance of accuracy and attention to detail. You can prioritise your workload, manage expectations and communicate effectively with a range of stakeholders. Ability to identify service improvements and work with the Team Leadeer/ Manager to apply authorised service improvements.
You are analytical, numerate and driven to achieve performance targets. You take ownership of your work, adapt well to change and thrive in a team environment while remaining self motivated.
Key Requirements
*Minimum A levels or equivalent (grades A*-C)
*Previous experience within a customer or retailer service environment preferred
*Experience within consumer finance or a regulated sector desirable
*Strong verbal and written communication skills
*Good negotiation and objection handling ability
*Ability to manage workload and meet deadlines
*Intermediate Excel and Word skills
*Workflow management experience
*High level of attention to detail and professionalism
*Able to thrive in a team environment
*Commercially aware
