We are currently recruiting for an experienced Locum Supervising Social Worker to join a supportive and well-established Fostering Team in the Stockport, Greater Manchester area. Responsibilities:
*Assessing and supporting prospective foster carers
*Providing ongoing supervision and support to foster carers
*Supporting children and young people in placement
*Building effective partnerships with external agencies and professionals
*Undertaking out-of-area assessments and visits as required
To be considered for this role, ideally you will have:
*Recognised Diploma/Degree in Social Work
*Social Work England registration
*A minimum of 3 years’ post-qualifying experience
*Strong knowledge of Fostering Services National Minimum Standards and Regulations
*Experience completing Form C and Form F assessments
*A flexible, motivated, and collaborative approach to practice
