Job Description:
Job Title: After School Club Assistant
Location: Preston
Hours: e.g. 3:00pm–6:00pm, Monday to Friday
Start Date: ASAP
About the Role Service Care Education are seeking a reliable, enthusiastic, and caring After School Club Assistant to join our team. The successful candidate will help provide a safe, engaging, and fun environment for children at the end of the school day.
Key Responsibilities *Supervising children aged [4–11 years] during after-school sessions
*Planning and supporting fun, creative, and physical activities
*Preparing and serving light snacks in line with health and safety guidelines
*Promoting positive behaviour and inclusion
*Ensuring the safety and wellbeing of all children
*Communicating effectively with parents and staff
*Assisting with setting up and tidying away equipment
Requirements *Experience working with children (preferred)
*Positive, energetic, and patient attitude
*Good communication and teamwork skills
*Understanding of safeguarding and child protection
*Relevant childcare qualification (desirable but not essential)
*First Aid certificate (preferred)
