Job Description:
An iconic restaurant business is looking to recruit an ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualified candidate to join its finance function.
Working closely with the Financial Controller and managing 1, you will ensure accurate management accounts are produced on a timely basis whilst developing strong relationships with the restaurant operations team. Main duties include:
*Support the Financial Controller in the preparation/review of monthly management accounts
*Review of monthly P&Ls and variance analysis of performance to budget
*Monthly review of balance sheet reconciliations with all discrepancies investigated and rectified
*Liaise with department heads on their department P&Ls
*Responsibility in ensuring significant new investment in new sites, and pre-opening costs are accounted for correctly, and can be analyzed easily by senior management
*Key involvement in the alignment of process and accounting treatments
*Assistance with group Corporation Tax returns when required
*Ad hoc work as required by the FC
You will be ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualified either in a similar management accounting role or looking for your first move from practice.
Hospitality experience, either in audit or industry would be highly desirable.
